Set right behind the Old Town of Ulcinj with a beachfront view, this small boutique hotel offers a different holiday experience.

History
Named after a respected medieval military rank that runed in our family for more than 100 years, Barjaktar translates as standard-bearer or flag-bearer.
Who carried the flag? “The bravest, most respectable and respected.” It was an honorable position carrying a considerable risk, as a standard-bearer would be a major target for the opposing side’s troops seeking to capture the standard or pull it down
The flag was a symbol of freedom, pride, and family’s greatest honor.
By naming our hotel “Barjaktar” we keep our family tradition “alive” so those future generations can’t forget our honorable past.
Location
Steps away from the Old Town fortres, church St.Nikola and a small rocky beach, this stylish boutique retreat has an excellent location with only 500 meters from a well-known Small beach and 5-minute walk from the main street/ city center where the best shops and cafes are settled. Although you will find yourself in the neighborhood of the main attractions, the property itself is on the peaceful part with a beachfront view and that is what makes the hotel’s location idyllic.

Fabulous location and facilities in one place.
☺ The location is fabulous, just behind the old town on its own cliff, only 10 min walk from Mala plaza. This positions it in the centre of the city, but is quiet during the night to get a fair sleep. It has its own pool, but also a glass rooftop terrace with a jacuzzi and a small pool overlooking Liman beach as well as a fantastic gym and sauna on the other side, overlooking the city centre. When opened, the sea breeze in the evening cools you, and no need for AC.
